The Georgia Insitute of Technology's School of City & Regional Planning will present a series of lectures in Fall 2017 as part of their Planning's Future Lecture Series, which is open to the public.
This series will invite scholars and practitioners to share their ideas in a featured lecture-discussion to both current and future city planners.
On Friday, October 20, 2017, UBDC Director Professor Vonu Thakuriah will present a talk entitled "Urban Informatics: Examples, Prospects, and Challenges." The lecture-discussion will pertain to big data impacts on cities and how universities might best respond.
